π‘ How to harness your potential in 2024 - using CLOTHES
Your clothing has EVERYTHING to do with how you feel about your own potential. Clothing is a tool that you can use to change the narrative of your life, and embrace your own self-worth. π Does natural always suit you best?
The thing thatβs truly enticing about colour analysis is the promise of a way to embrace your natural features and still look your best. If you wear the right colour top, you can wear no makeup and refrain from dyeing your hair and still shine. But does this mean the natural ways is always the best way?
π Why is it so hard to find your body type?
Finding your body type is hard because the Kibbe system is complicated. There are contradictions, nuances, vague descriptions and strange jargon. It can sometimes feel like the body type system is designed to keep you stuck in the loop. The response I see from many people at this point is βwell itβs not real then is itβ. I am the first person to say Kibbe is not a science. The way we perceive clothing and interpret clothing, I think there is science involved there, but Kibbe itself? Not a science. Itβs a concept.
π’ Trends 101: How to Seize not Submit
Many assume that fashion and style are one and the same, when theyβre more like two sides of the same coin. The only thing personal style and fashion really has in common is clothes. Fashion is the world of trends: who are you wearing? whatβs on the runway? what is that designer saying? Even though I place myself firmly in the style camp, fashion is by far the more innovative, creative and exciting world. Itβs always moving, itβs always changing.

We all have a brand, whether you have a business or social media like me, and style plays a huge role. Visual consistency/repetition/cohesion is a key factor in any stylish wardrobe and the things you choose to repeat say the most about you. If you are struggling with the idea of expressing your style authentically, why not think of it as your branding for a week
π€― The True Purpose of Style
This week I met the incredible Erica Davies, the author behind βLeopard is a Neutralβ, (more on that later!!), and this quote from it. I think this perfectly encapsulates the idea of style. So, what do you want your style to say about you? Sometimes, on our worst days, clothes are just something to cover us up with and feel okay again, but at its best clothing should do so much more.
π How to Wear a Colour That Doesnβt Suit You
I donβt believe that finding your colour season means throwing your wardrobe in the bin and starting again. Firstly, you are likely to make mistakes when you do so as it takes time to warm up your knowledge, and secondly I believe that our personal style goes beyond rules. I use these systems as tools to make my style better, not to rule my life.
