Narrow | Body Matrix Categories
Narrow body types have narrowness in their bone structure. This is my guide for if you might be in the narrow category and how to dress for this feature
Features
Narrowness appears in the bone structure. It means you are not wide or balanced, but appear small in your width. You can be narrow at any weight. These are some features to look out for:
narrow shoulders (e.g. your straps often fall off)
column shape
lithe/sinewy look when at a low weight
often slightly pear-shaped (but not always - can be rectangle or hourglass)
thin fingers
delicate look

How to Style
You donโt have to include ALL of the following elements in an outfit to honour your narrowness, but one to three details will help to create this impression. There are also lots of other elements I could include, but I think this is a good starting point!
Fitted necklines
Tight, fitted necklines which are close to the neck honour the narrowness in your shoulders. The opposite would overwhelm you and drown your frame. This can include a crew neck, halter neck or high boat neck, for example
Tight clothes
Clothes which are tight to the body help narrow types with getting overwhelmed by fabric as the fabric is closer to their frame
Cinched hems
Sleeves, hems, legs should all be cinched or tight to the body for the best looks for narrow types. This emphasises their column shape
Pointed toes
Finishing your look with a little point is the perfect way to finish your look as someone with a narrow frame! Pointed toes, and delicate shoes generally will be perfect

The office can be a cold, bland, lifeless place, and no more when it comes to clothes. Rather than submitting to workplace drab, this is how you can bring more of YOU into your everyday corporate look
